Cricut coasters are ceramic coasters, they absorb water and condensation from your glass, and help avoid watermarks or stains on your tables. They are heat-resistant and corrosion-resistant. Ceramics are made from mixtures of clay, earthly elements, powders, and water. They are then shaped into the form desired.
But on top of the Cricut ceramic coaster is a poly-coating. This coating allows for sublimation, meaning that you can apply your infusible ink designs onto these coasters.
Cricut coasters come in square or round, with a 3.6" diameter for the circles or 3.75" square for the squares. Make sure to read the description of your coasters, some come with cork backing and some don't.
To use infusible ink with your coasters, you will need a heat press that reaches 400°F and Infusible ink transfer sheets or pens. Use the Cricut heat guide to determine what temperature, the order of stacking (cardstock under the coaster, coaster facing the mat/cardstock, butcher paper on top), how long, and what pressure (most likely none).
